CHILDREN’S CHURCH AND LITTLE LAMBS are on break for the school holidays.

INSTALLATION of Pastor Peter as Assistant Bishop – Sunday 22 April, 10.10am

Pastor Peter Hage will be installed as Assistant Bishop of the WA District, by Bishop Mike Fulwood.

MOVIE ‘The Song Keepers’ from 3 May

at Luna Leederville, this documentary tells the story of the Central Australian Aboriginal Women’s Choir from the central desert region around Hermannsburg and their preserving of the 140 year musical legacy of ancient Aboriginal languages and German baroque hymns!

CONSTITUTION INFORMATION EVENING – Tuesday 15 May, 6.30pm

Church Council will be holding a Constitution Information evening to give all an opportunity to understand and ask questions of the process required by law to update our Constitution.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

DADS AND KIDS CAMP – 18 to 20 May

LYWA is running this popular annual camp – the theme ‘Run the Race’.  Open to Dads with kids aged between 5-12 years.  Please see the usher’s desk for information and registration forms.

Easter Resurrection Crosses

St Johns members and families with an artistic flair celebrated the resurrection with creations of crosses expressing the themes of Easter. The display will be featured for the seven Sundays of Christmas.

Christmas at St Johns

The Christmas season features a Nativity Display or Christmas Tree Display,  as well as services in German, English, Norwegian and Chinese.

Opening of St Johns Court

St Johns Court was opened on 1st March 2015. The new facility provides expanded space for St Johns congregation and the WA District office,  including:

  • Hall for gatherings and worship
  • Reception and lounge area
  • Pastor’s offices and counselling space
  • Children’s church rooms
  • Youth zone
  • Kitchen

The building also features showers, change rooms and underground parking.
