Did you know that St John’s has Ministry Team Leaders?

7

The leaders meet regularly with our pastors to pray for and plan the ministry and mission of the Congregation. Leaders are not required to “do it all”.  Their role is to encourage others to join them in carrying out the work of each ministry. Perhaps God is calling you to be a leader or worker in one of these key areas?

Care

Caring is using our God-given gifts and talents as servants to help members and the community in their time of need and everyday life. For more information speak to Rebecca Lamont.

Children’s Church and Little Lambs

Providing education about Christian life from a Lutheran perspective through Children’s Church and Little Lambs. For more information speak to Jodie Belke, Heidi Spicer and Kay Robinson.

Fellowship

Members and friends of St John’s meeting together in social activities which develop friendships, witness to our faith and endeavour to serve the needs of our people.

Worship

Worship is God serving us through His Word and sacraments together with our response to Him. Our confession of faith, prayer, praise and thanksgiving empowers us to live the whole of our lives to His glory. Members of this ministry group work with the Pastors to plan and prepare our worship services. For more information speak to our Pastors.

Youth

Celebrating and sharing the love of God by and with young people, through a program of regular events and gatherings. For more information speak to Zach Offszanka or Maya Kraj Krajewski

Small Groups

Small groups of members and friends meeting in many locations for regular Bible Study, supporting our growth as a Christian community. For more information speak to our Pastors.

More detailed information on each ministry area and the tasks involved is available. If you are interested in any particular area you can ask our leaders, Pastors, members of Council or St John’s office for more information.
